1. Booking and Payment:
- All bookings are subject to availability.
- A deposit of 50% is required to confirm the booking. The remaining balance must be paid before check-in.
- Payments can be made via online transfer, credit/debit card, or cash.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy:
- Cancellations made 14 days prior to the booking date are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made 7-13 days prior will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 7 days of the booking date.
3. Check-in and Check-out:
- Check-in time: 12:00 PM for overnight stays and 11:00 AM for day trips.
- Check-out time: 9:00 AM for overnight stays and 5:00 PM for day trips.
- Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
4. Houseboat Rules and Regulations:
- Guests must follow safety guidelines provided by the crew.
- Alcohol consumption is permitted only in designated areas and as per local laws.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the houseboat.
- Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the houseboat during their stay.
- Littering in the backwaters is strictly prohibited.
5. Safety and Liability:
- Venissa Houseboats will not be responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings.
- Guests must comply with all safety instructions provided by the crew.
- The management reserves the right to cancel or modify bookings due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather or government regulations.
6. Meals and Amenities:
- Meals are provided as per the package selected. Special dietary requirements must be informed in advance.
- Air conditioning in rooms will be available from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM unless specified otherwise.
- Guests are not allowed to bring outside food and beverages without prior approval.
7. Dispute Resolution:
- Any disputes arising from bookings or services shall be resolved amicably. If necessary, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Kerala courts.
By confirming your booking with Venissa Houseboats, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. The management reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
